An independent plumbing and property improvement contractor serving homeowners across Glasgow.

I run Flowline Builds as an independent sole trader from Glasgow. When you call, email or message, you're speaking directly with me — and when I arrive on site, I'm the one doing the work.
My name is Bhagwan Dulal, and I operate Flowline Builds as an independent contractor serving homeowners throughout Glasgow. I am a sole trader, which means every enquiry, every site visit and every piece of work is handled by me personally. There is no call centre, no subcontracted labour and no anonymous middleman to deal with — when you contact Flowline Builds, you are speaking directly with the person who will carry out the work.
I established Flowline Builds because I wanted to deliver plumbing work the way I always believed it should be delivered: honestly, carefully and with clear communication from start to finish. Too often homeowners describe plumbing work as confusing, unpredictable or stressful. My aim is to remove that uncertainty by treating every job, however small, with the same level of professionalism and attention to detail.
I have spent more than a decade working on residential plumbing across a wide range of properties in and around Glasgow — from compact tenement flats and traditional sandstone terraces through to larger detached family homes. That experience has given me a practical understanding of how plumbing actually behaves in real Scottish properties: the quirks of older pipework, the demands of modern fittings, the importance of insulation in winter, and the realities of working in occupied homes.
Over that time I have completed kitchen plumbing upgrades, bathroom fixture installations, water system improvements and bespoke installation projects for private homeowners. I have learned that good plumbing is rarely about heroics. It is about preparation, choosing the right materials, taking the time to do it properly, and leaving the property as tidy as you found it.
I structure every project around three simple principles: clarity, quality and accountability.
Clarity means you always know what is happening, what it will cost and what is expected of you. Before any chargeable work begins, I provide a written summary of what I propose to do, what is included and what is not. I do not believe in surprises on the invoice. If something unexpected emerges during a job — and occasionally it does — I will stop, explain the situation and agree the next steps with you before continuing.
Quality means using the right materials for the job, taking pride in neat workmanship and pressure-testing every installation before I leave. I would rather take an extra hour to do something properly than rush through and return later to put it right.
Accountability means standing behind my work. If something I have installed does not behave as it should, I want to know about it and I will return to put it right. As a sole trader my reputation is my livelihood, and that is the best guarantee any homeowner can ask for.
Communication is the part of the trade that I think makes the biggest difference for homeowners. I aim to respond to enquiries within one business day. When I confirm a visit, I turn up at the agreed time, and if anything delays me I will let you know in advance. Quotes are provided in writing so that you have something concrete to refer back to, and I am happy to talk through any line item if it is not clear.
During the project I will keep you informed about progress, changes and timings. After the project is complete, I am still contactable by phone or email if you have any follow-up questions.
I work to recognised UK plumbing standards and follow current Water Regulations. I use quality fittings and materials from established UK suppliers rather than the cheapest option I can find. Pipework is supported and insulated properly, joints are tested under pressure, and every installation is left clean, accessible and clearly explained.
I carry public liability insurance appropriate for a sole-trader plumbing contractor working in residential properties. Insurance documents can be provided on request.
Working in someone else's home is a privilege and I treat it as such. Floor coverings are protected, work areas are kept tidy throughout the day, and all waste and old fittings are removed at the end of the project. I take particular care around children, pets and vulnerable household members.
Water supplies are only isolated when necessary and always with your agreement. Where work affects shared services in a tenement or flat building, I will discuss it with you in advance so neighbours can be informed.
Choosing an independent contractor means choosing the person you have already spoken to. The quote you receive is the quote I have prepared. The hands doing the work on the day are mine. The aftercare comes from the same number you called originally. For most homeowners that continuity is the single biggest reason they prefer to work with Flowline Builds rather than a larger company.
It also means decisions can be made quickly. If you need to change a date, ask a question or adjust the scope of a job, you are talking to the decision maker — not waiting in a queue.
I am based in the east end of Glasgow and routinely cover the wider city and surrounding suburbs. If you are unsure whether your property falls within my usual area, please get in touch and I will let you know honestly. I would rather decline a job than travel so far that I cannot deliver the level of service my customers expect.
If you have a plumbing project you would like to discuss, the easiest first step is to send a short message through the contact page describing what you need. Photographs are always helpful. I will reply within one business day with practical next steps and, where possible, an indicative price using one of my published service packages.
Thank you for considering Flowline Builds. I look forward to helping you with your project.
