These Terms and Conditions govern the supply of services by Bhagwan Dulal trading as Flowline Builds ("I", "me", "my") to private customers ("you"). By booking a service through https://flowlinebuilds.co.uk or by accepting a written quotation, you agree to these terms.
I provide residential plumbing services as described on the services and pricing pages, together with bespoke quotations for projects that fall outside the standard packages. All work is carried out personally by me as an independent sole trader.
Published prices on the services and pricing pages are one-time fees for the specific package described. Bespoke quotations are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise. Prices include labour and standard materials unless explicitly noted; premium materials supplied at your request are quoted separately.
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). VAT does not currently apply as I operate below the VAT registration threshold; if this changes you will be informed in writing.
A booking is confirmed when payment for a package is received through Stripe, or when you confirm acceptance of a bespoke quotation in writing and any agreed deposit is paid. I will then contact you to agree a date for the work.
Standard packages are payable in full at the time of booking. Bespoke quotations may require a deposit, with the balance payable on completion. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. I do not accept cash.
To allow me to carry out the work safely and efficiently you agree to provide reasonable access to the property at the agreed time, to identify the location of stopcocks and isolation valves where known, to remove personal items from the immediate working area, to inform me of any known issues that could affect the work, and to ensure children and pets are kept away from the work area for safety reasons.
If the scope of the work needs to change during the project — for example because of pre-existing issues discovered on opening up pipework — I will stop, explain the situation and agree any changes in writing (including by email or text message) before continuing.
You may cancel or reschedule a booking by contacting me as early as possible. Refund eligibility is set out in the Refund Policy. Repeated short-notice cancellations may incur a reasonable charge to cover wasted time and travel.
Services are limited to the scope of the package or quotation you have purchased. I do not provide emergency 24-hour call-out, Gas Safe gas-appliance work, structural building work, electrical certification, or any work outside my professional competence. Where work requires another trade I will say so honestly and recommend bringing in the appropriate professional.
Workmanship is warranted for a reasonable period after completion. If a defect in my workmanship appears within that period, please contact me and I will return to remedy it at no additional charge. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, third-party alterations or normal wear and tear.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under UK law. Subject to that, my total liability arising out of or in connection with a project is limited to the amount you have paid for that project. I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
I carry public liability insurance appropriate for a sole-trader plumbing contractor working in residential properties. Details can be provided on request.
I am not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside my reasonable control, including severe weather, illness, accidents, supplier failure, industrial action or government restrictions. I will give you as much notice as possible and work with you to agree a revised schedule.
Any concern about the service should first be raised directly with me so I have a fair opportunity to put things right. The full process is set out in the Complaints Procedure.
Your personal data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The version applicable to your project is the version in force on the date you confirmed the booking.
For any question about these Terms, please email flowlinebuilds@gmail.com or write to 46 Moorfoot Street, Glasgow G32 6EH.
