Answers to the questions I am asked most often by Glasgow homeowners.
The fastest way is to fill in the form on the contact page with a brief description of the work and, where possible, a photograph. I aim to respond within one business day with an indicative price or, if needed, to arrange a site visit.
My service is designed around planned and scheduled plumbing work rather than 24-hour emergency call-outs. If you have an urgent leak you should isolate the supply at the stopcock and contact an emergency plumber. I am happy to follow up with a proper repair afterwards.
Once a Stripe payment is received I will email you to confirm and to agree a suitable date for the work. For assessment packages, that confirmation typically includes a short questionnaire about your property.
Work is scheduled by direct agreement between you and me, normally within one to two weeks of confirmation. I will give you a clear arrival window on the day.
No. Every package is a single, one-time payment. There are no subscriptions, no monthly fees and no automatic renewals of any kind.
Yes. If you cancel before any work or scheduled site visit has taken place, a refund is available in line with the refund policy. Please contact me as early as possible.
I am based in Glasgow and routinely work across the city and immediate surrounding areas. If you are unsure, please get in touch and I will confirm honestly whether I can take on the job.
Yes. I hold public liability insurance appropriate for a sole-trader plumbing contractor. Documentation can be provided on request.
Workmanship is guaranteed for a reasonable period after completion. If something I have installed is not behaving correctly, contact me and I will return to put it right at no additional charge.
For most packages I supply standard fittings and materials. For premium fixtures chosen by you, we will agree the supply arrangement in writing before work begins.
Smaller fixture installations are often completed within a single visit. Larger projects such as a bespoke installation are scoped individually — I will give you a clear timeline before you commit.
Yes. Any change to the agreed scope will be discussed first so we can confirm the impact on cost and timing in writing before proceeding.
Floor coverings are protected, work areas are kept tidy and old fittings and packaging are removed at the end of the project.
Card payments are processed securely through Stripe using the buttons on the services and pricing pages. Other arrangements can be discussed for larger custom quotes.
I take any concern seriously. The complaints procedure page explains the steps in detail — in short, please contact me directly first so I can try to put things right.
Get in touch directly — I'm happy to talk through any specific question about your project.
